The EL tape has arrived in perfect working condition. I ran a test by simply taping the wires to the right contact points on 1 inch of tape.
I received two different types of portable inverters - one uses two AA batteries, and the other one 9V battery. So far, both batteries are the same brightness in the dark.
Two-for-one.
On a backpack?
Fifteen feet away. Visibility isn't bad. A cluster of them might show up better.
